byRemote, Inc. is dedicated to the development and distribution of our Video as a Service (VaaS) family of IP video management and recording products through a growing network of authorized resellers and installers. Our Video as a Service products are web-based. This means that they are designed for the user-friendly web access to the live streaming video viewing and recorded surveillance video, with on-demand viewing and  playback of video from a computer, tablet or cell phone that has Internet access.

The byRemote Partner Program is designed as a recurring monthly revenue (RMR) model which offers businesses the opportunity to re-sell their own versions of the byRemote Video as a Service( VaaS) products and services quickly and easily. We assist our partners with the Managed Video Surveillance Services and related services so that a partner can easily and quickly offer the Video as a Service products to their client base and opportunities. An industry first is our Free 30-Day Test Drive where an interested partner can try out the byRemote web-based Video Surveillance Center software for free for a 30-Day period. 

 

What is Video as a Service (VaaS)?

Video as a Service is a term coined by byRemote to describe our family of video surveillance video storage products. The Video as a Service products offers video surveillance solutions on a budget- friendly, on-demand subscription basis. Your clients pay for only what they need. It is the perfect video surveillance management tool for small-to-medium business (SMB) and residential clientele. These products include:
  

Hosted Video as a Service (HVaaS): The video is stored off-site on remote secure servers in a data center. The video is recorded for a user-selected video storage time period. This product is ideal for small business or residential customers who do not have the time, resources or space available to have a recording device at their location(s).  The monthly Hosted Video as a Service license fee includes the remote Managed Video Services. The Managed Video Surveillance Services include support, customer account activations, software updates and upgrades and the monitoring of the recording status of the video with our IsItUp Service which includes notifications of any off-line cameras. This is a month-by-month service with no contracts required from byRemote. Each partner has the ability to choose whether they wish to require a contract from their customers.

Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS): The video is stored on-site on an on-premise storage server computer. The video can be recorded in standard, high or megapixel resolution. The resolution, time frame and frames per second (FPS) are selectable to each individual video feed. This product is ideal for customers who wish to outsource the management of the system to another party. The Managed Video Surveillance Services are provided by byRemote, or the partner, based on the selected Managed Video as a Service license plan. These Managed Video Surveillance Services include support, customer account activation, software updates and upgrades, operating system updates, system health checks, IsItUp Service monitoring of the storage device and recording status with e-mail  notifications of any off-line devices. This is a month-by-month service with no contracts from byRemote. Each partner has the ability to choose whether they wish to require a contract from their customers. The Managed Video as a Service product has the option to have the standard user interface of the byRemote Video Surveillance Center software re-branded with its own logo, color scheme and support and contact information.

 

Managed Video Data Center (MVDC): The video is stored off-site on a dedicated server located remotely at a secure data center. The video can be recorded in standard or high resolution depending on the number of cameras and bandwidth available at the camera location. This product is for partners who wish to operate their own video data center. Just as byRemote does. It is also ideal for larger multi-location businesses that need a dedicated storage for video from multiple cameras at multiple locations. This provides them with enough disk space and bandwidth, as well as one login, to access all of their locations from one web-based user interface. The remote Managed Video Surveillance Services are provided by byRemote, or the partner, based on the selected Managed Video Data Center license plan. These Managed Video Surveillance Services include support, customer account activation, software updates and upgrades, operating system updates, system health checks, monitoring of the IsItUp Service monitoring of the video storage server and recording status with e-mail notifications of any off-line devices. This is a month-by-month service with no contracts from byRemote. Each partner has the ability to choose whether they wish to require a contract from their customers.
